• Suitable for:
  • Tea/Drinks: Perfect for adding a warm, caramelly note to your bubble tea or milk tea.
  • Dessert Drinks: Ideal for making iced coffee, milkshakes or frappes.
  • Mocktails/Cocktails: An excellent choice for cocktails and mocktails with a sweet, intense flavour base.
  • Tapioca: Essential for making tapioca pearls to give them their characteristic brown sugar flavour.

   

TAPIOCA WITH BROWN SUGAR SYRUP

Ingredients:

• 1 kg tapioca pearls
• 6 liters of water
• 200 ml brown sugar syrup

Preparation:

• Add the tapioca pearls to the 6 L of boiling water and stir gently to prevent sticking.
• Let the tapioca pearls simmer for about 25-30 minutes. Stir occasionally.
• Drain the cooked tapioca pearls through a sieve and rinse with cold water to remove excess starch.
• Heat 200 ml brown sugar syrup in a saucepan and add the tapioca pearls. 
• Let the tapioca pearls simmer in the syrup over medium heat until they are well coated and the syrup thickens slightly (about 5 minutes).
• The prepared tapioca pearls are now ready to be used in bubble tea or other drinks.

Tip:
The prepared tapioca pearls should be consumed within 4 hours to maintain their optimal consistency and freshness. Perfect for classic milk teas or creative bubble tea creations!

• Shelf life: Up to 24 months unopened. Please store in a cool, dark and dry place.
• After opening: Keep cool and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Use the syrup as soon as possible after opening.
• Best before: Minimum shelf life of 2 months unless otherwise stated.
